Meet Jessica Starr

We are excited to welcome Jessica Starr to Aspire Dance Centre as one of our guest choreographers!

Jessica is known for her contagious energy, inspiring artistry, and passion for empowering dancers through movement. We are honored to have her creating for Aspire and can’t wait for our dancers to experience her creativity, vision, and dynamic choreographic style this season.

Jessica Starr has been traveling the globe over the past decade sharing her unique passion and contagious spirit with all she encounters. As a current resident of Los Angeles she has had the pleasure of working on Elton John’s Vegas show, The Red Piano, H&M and JC Penney’s commercials as well as several MTV, VH1 and Lions Gate productions.

Jessica Starr has been acknowledged for her work with her LA dance company, MusEffect by icons Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Gates and accredited press such as Huffington Post, SF Global and Dance Spirit Magazine.

Jessica strives to motivate young visionaries through her radiant spirit, positive energy, and empowering perspectives. She thrives on being able to share her working knowledge of the dance industry and personal experiences with budding artists around the world.

Meet Claire Dos Santos

We are excited to welcome Claire Dos Santos to Aspire Dance Centre as one of our guest choreographers!

Claire’s passion for developing dancers, combined with years of teaching, judging, and creating award-winning choreography, makes her an incredible addition to Aspire. We are honored to have her creating for our dancers and can’t wait to see the creativity, artistry, and inspiration she brings to the studio this season.

Claire grew up training and dancing competitively at Dance Branson in Branson, Missouri. In high school, she performed various times for Legends in Concert, as well as many veteran tribute shows with a small tap group with Peggy Lee Brennan.

At 18, she was hired as a dancer for a grand-scale illusion show and performed for two seasons.

From 2017 - 2020, she taught for Next Gen Dance Convention and Competition, touring many states teaching various styles.

She gained experience as a competition judge through Next Gen and had also judged for multiple high school Pom competitions. She has been teaching in the Tulsa area for 6 years and choreographing for competition teams. She has also guest choreographed for studios and Pom teams in the tri-state area.

Claire has her degree from ORU in International Business/French, and currently works full time in Business Intelligence & Strategic Analytics. She has been married to her husband, Thiago, for 5 years. The love of dance has also been passed down to her three-daughter, Camila Grace.

Meet Kate Alava & Morgan Williams

We are excited to welcome Kate Alava and Morgan Williams to Aspire Dance Centre as our guest choreographers!

Known for their collaborative artistry and innovative choreographic voice, Kate and Morgan have created acclaimed work for companies, universities, and professional productions across the country. We are honored they will be creating for Aspire and can’t wait to see the artistry, creativity, and inspiration they bring to our dancers this season.

Morgan Williams and Kate Alava are distinguished choreographers and performers, as well as the Artistic Team of Water Street Dance Milwaukee. Their collaborative work has earned national recognition, including being named “25 to Watch” by Dance Magazine.

Together, they lead an award-winning pre-professional program and have received numerous accolades for their choreography. Most recently, they were named finalists for the McCallum Theatre Palm Desert Choreography Festival.

In addition to their concert work, Morgan and Kate have served as creative directors for touring productions including Are You Ready For It and The Little Monsters. Their choreographic voice has been commissioned by respected institutions such as Milwaukee Ballet II, Lindenwood University, and Texas Christian University.

Meet Cydney Heard

We are excited to welcome Cydney Heard to Aspire Dance Centre as one of our guest choreographers!

With a passion for inspiring dancers and a diverse background in performance, education, and the performing arts, Cydney brings a fresh perspective and contagious energy to the studio. We can’t wait for our dancers to learn from her creativity, artistry, and experience.

Cydney Heard is a passionate and versatile dance artist and educator dedicated to inspiring the next generation of dancers. She has performed as a featured soloist at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival and IAF Gala, with stage credits at major venues like the McCallum Theatre, El Portal Theater, and The Smith.

Cydney’s training includes elite summer programs such as BodyTraffic, Lines Ballet, Arts Umbrella International, and Chuthis Movement Intensive, where she studied under top artists including Peter Chu, Artemis Gordon, and Tina Finkelman Berkett. She also toured nationally as an assistant with the DanceMakers convention, gaining hands-on teaching experience alongside industry-leading choreographers.

In addition to dance, Cydney has a strong background in acting and voice, with credits including the Off-Broadway production of Mike & Mindy’s Wild Weekend Jam and Maxine’s Christmas Carol. Her diverse training and vibrant energy create a classroom experience that is both technically strong and creatively empowering.

Meet Brady Michael

We are excited to welcome Brady Michael to Aspire Dance Centre as one of our guest choreographers!

Known for his innovative choreography and commitment to developing authentic artists, Brady brings an incredible combination of creativity, artistry, and professional experience. We can’t wait for our dancers to work with him and experience his unique creative process.

Represented by Xcel Talent Agency, Brady Michael is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer currently based in Atlanta, GA.

He has directed and choreographed four sold-out, evening-length dance performances: the one 2019, Weightless 2022, Five More Minutes 2024, & Under the Same Moon 2025. He has also created work for other companies and shows, including Admix Project, Xcel Talent Agency, & NASCAR. Brady can be seen as a dancer in Megalopolis, a film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and the final season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

For competition studios, he is a sought-after instructor and choreographer in the southeast. He is an 8-time IDA Outstanding Performance nominee and a 43-time Choreography Award winner. He teaches weekly adult classes at Xcel Studios in Atlanta where his class footage has amassed over 3 million views online. In 2022, Brady created RISK Contemporary Dance Company with the intention of creating opportunities for professional and pre-professional dancers in the Atlanta area.

Brady always strives to create an accepting environment through peer encouragement and insight while teaching. He promotes love and expression of authentic artistry in his classes and choreography; he is so excited to continue to build new relationships in the future.

Meet Ella Memmott

We are excited to welcome Ella Memmott to Aspire Dance Centre as one of our guest choreographers for the 2026 Company Intensive!

Ella brings a wonderful combination of professional performance experience, choreography, and a passion for developing dancers. From performing on stage to working with nationally recognized dance organizations, she continues to make an impact both as an artist and educator. We are thrilled to have her share her talent, creativity, and perspective with our dancers this summer.

Ella Memmott was born and raised in Utah, though she has had the incredible opportunity to travel across the country and the world for training and choreographic purposes. Her performance credits include Tarzan at the REV Theatre (performer and associate choreographer), Thriller with Odyssey Dance Theatre, and Hello, Dolly! with Hale Centre Theatre. Ella is currently an apprentice for L.A. dance company MusEffect and works as a Pro Assistant with competition/convention Reinforce Dance Experience. She recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Dance, where she performed with Contemporary Dance Theatre and the Cougarettes Dance Team.

Meet Brady Rowan

We are excited to announce Brady Rowan as one of our guest choreographers for Aspire Dance Centre!

Brady is an award-winning choreographer and accomplished performer whose creativity and artistry are making an impact throughout the dance industry. We are thrilled to have him creating new work for our dancers this season.

Brady Rowan is a dancer and choreographer from Northeast Ohio. After high school, he began choreographing and has earned numerous awards including 2 World Choreography Nominations with Star Dance Alliance. He currently is a company member of MusEffect, a dance company based in Los Angeles, where he performed in the 2022 Industry Dance Awards with Derek Hough and Haley Erbert for Dancers Against Cancer.

Brady travels across the country choreographing and teaching, not only independently, but with MusEffect as well. He regularly assists choreographers such as Katie Hazard and Matthew Fata. He is a principal dancer for Denver based contemporary company, Vitality the Company, directed by Katie Hazard and has performed at many festivals such as Red Rocks and Dumbo Dance Festivals and the Intrigue Closing Gala in Orlando in 2024.

In Los Angeles, he has taught at many prominent studios such as Eighty Eight Studios, Avanti Dance Company and Project 21. He is a professional assistant for Ben Bigler’s new dance convention, Reinforce Dance Experience, where he assists Nikki Charest, Lonni Olson, Jason Martin and many more. He is also on Matthew Fata’s new contemporary dance company, He(art) Dance Company.

He most recently presented work at Los Angeles’ Choreographer’s Carnival in April 2025 and at the Journey Dance Awards where he won Standout Choreographer. He was also selected to showcase work at the World of Dance Summit Los Angeles and Dance Educators Collective’s Choreographer’s Cup in Nashville this summer!

Josh Killacky is a choreographer, recording artist, professional dancer, actor, and director from Chicago. A truly versatile talent, Josh has performed on NBC’s World of Dance, Good Morning America, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He has partnered with many top global brands, including Target, Google, and Puma, and has taught in over 20 countries. With 1M+ TikTok followers, multiple viral videos and countless other accolades, Josh has established himself as a true dynamic force within the entertainment industry.

Meet Becca Mala
Aspire Dance Centre Company Intensive Faculty

We’re excited to welcome Becca Mala to Aspire Dance Centre as part of our inaugural Company Intensive!

Becca Mala is a ballet instructor and choreographer with nearly 30 years of experience working with dancers of all ages and levels. She holds a BFA in Ballet Performance from OU and is passionate about building strong technical foundations while inspiring artistry, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for classical ballet.

Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Becca performed numerous Principal and Soloist roles with Ballet Arkansas and has also performed professionally with Tulsa Ballet Theatre, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, and Los Angeles Contemporary Ballet. During her 15 years in Los Angeles, she also appeared in commercial and film projects.

Becca has served as the Children’s Ballet Mistress for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker at Walton Arts Center and was Ballet Director for Revolution Dance Center in Los Angeles, where she helped develop a structured ballet program for more than 1,200 dancers while choreographing for both the competitive teams and Revolution Ballet Theatre.

Her students have gone on to perform professionally in television and film and have earned scholarships to prestigious programs including School of American Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, ABT, and numerous college dance programs.

Most recently, Becca has spent the past eight years as Ballet Director at High Pointe Performing Arts in Bentonville, Arkansas, preparing dancers for competitions, college dance programs, and professional careers. She is excited to share her love of ballet with every dancer she teaches.

Meet Creighton Ferree

Aspire Dance Centre Company Intensive Guest Faculty

We’re thrilled to welcome Creighton Ferree to Aspire Dance Centre as part of our inaugural Company Intensive.

An award-winning choreographer, educator, and performer, Creighton brings an incredible combination of creativity, artistry, and professional experience to Aspire. His passion for helping dancers build confidence while encouraging them to grow makes him an inspiring mentor, and we can’t wait for our students to train with him this August.

Creighton Ferree is originally from Ankeny, Iowa, where he grew up dancing from the age of 2. For the past six years, he has filled the roles of lead instructor, Artistic Director and Competition Director at multiple studios in the Des Moines area. Throughout that time, his work has earned many choreography awards, as well as the People’s Choice Industry Dance Award in 2021. Now residing in Los Angeles, Creighton has had the privilege of continuing his training and educating with the likes of MusEffect and various studios in the LA area. He performed at the Sueños Music Festival in Chicago as a dancer for Yeri Mua under the direction of Marcelo Esquivel, and is currently in the production process for multiple music videos and other upcoming projects releasing later this year. Creighton has a passion for life and loves helping his students foster creativity and confidence in everything that they do. He can’t wait to dance with you all!

Meet Will Thomas

Aspire Dance Centre Company Intensive Faculty

We’re thrilled to welcome Will Thomas to Aspire Dance Centre as part of our inaugural Company Intensive.

A performer, choreographer, and educator, Will has built an incredible career in the commercial dance industry while inspiring the next generation of dancers. We can’t wait for our students to train with him this August.

Will Thomas moved from Detroit to Los Angeles when he was 18 and dove into the professional dance industry. He continued his studies in dance and acting as he began to work professionally. Will realized that his strength was his versatility, and because of this, was cast for television, films, commercials, and stage.

Will’s commercial resume reads like a “who’s who” list: Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Zendaya, Rita Ora, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Brenden Urie, Patti Labelle, Chris Daughtry, Michelle Williams, and more.

Will has appeared on television shows such as: The VMAs, The Emmys, The Critics Choice Awards, The Radio Disney Music Awards, So You Think You Can Dance, Nashville, Ellen, Hit the Floor, Parenthood, World of Dance, Superstore, RuPaul’s Drag Race, The X Factor, and 20/20.

His film credits include: Pitch Perfect 3, Marry Me, Renfield, and Spirited (where he is dancing and acting alongside Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds).

One of Will’s proudest accomplishments was achieved on The Masked Singer, where he advanced from a Dancer, to Assistant Choreographer, and then to Choreographer. He has continued his role for the past five seasons.

Now, Will and Jackie are dedicated to working as Co-Directors of the Los Angeles Jazz Company to preserve and advance the art of jazz dance.

Those who know Will understand that he has the energy and determination to make things happen. When he is not on set or at rehearsal, he travels with LA Dance Magic as a long-time faculty member. Join us for three incredible days of training, growth, inspiration, and unforgettable experiences alongside an amazing lineup of guest teachers and choreographers—some of the very best in the industry.

💙 Meet Hailey Huffling
Please join us in welcoming Hailey Huffling to the Aspire Dance Centre family!✨

We are thrilled to welcome Hailey to the Aspire faculty. Her strong technical foundation, collegiate performance experience, and encouraging spirit make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Hailey has been involved in the dance world since the age of five. She grew up training in both competitive dance and gymnastics, developing a strong passion for performance, artistry, and movement.

Her dedication to dance led her to perform at the Division I collegiate level as a member of the Cheerleading and Pom Programs at Abilene Christian University.

Hailey is excited to be back in the studio, where she looks forward to sharing her knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of dance with the next generation of dancers. She is passionate about creating a positive environment where dancers are encouraged to grow in both confidence and technique while discovering their love for movement.

When she’s not at work or in the studio, Hailey enjoys working out and spending time with her husband, Max. The two have been married for nearly two years and are excited to be back in the Springfield area.

We are excited for our dancers to learn from Hailey’s enthusiasm, dedication, and love for dance, and we can’t wait to see the impact she has on our Aspire family.✨

💙 Meet Lillie Dodge
Please join us in welcoming Lillie Dodge to the Aspire Dance Centre family!✨

We are thrilled to welcome Lillie to the Aspire faculty. Her commitment to technical excellence, extensive training, and passion for developing confident, well-rounded dancers make her an incredible addition to our team.

Lillie brings more than 17 years of training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and contemporary. Throughout her dance journey, she has trained at prestigious summer intensives with Kansas City Ballet and Joffrey Ballet, performed in numerous story ballet productions, and competed at a high level for 10 years.

She continued her dance career at Cowley County Community College on a dance team scholarship, where she served as a team leader and helped lead her nationally recognized team to a runner-up finish at DTU Nationals.

Lillie recently graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, a Minor in Dance, a Certificate in Sports Nutrition, and certification through Acrobatic Arts. Her unique combination of dance training and knowledge of athletic performance allows her to help dancers build strength, confidence, and healthy movement habits that support long-term success.

Outside of dance, you can usually find Lillie at a sporting event or concert, spending time outdoors, or with a Diet Coke in hand. She is passionate about empowering dancers with the knowledge and tools to fuel their bodies well while developing strong technique and healthy performance habits.

We are excited for our dancers to benefit from Lillie’s knowledge, versatility, and dedication to helping every student grow both technically and artistically.✨

💙 Meet Hannah Christian

Please join us in welcoming Hannah Christian to the Aspire Dance Centre family!✨

We are thrilled to welcome Hannah to our faculty. Her exceptional technical training, collegiate performance experience, and passion for mentoring young dancers make her an incredible addition to Aspire.

Hannah has been dancing since the age of two and has spent the past 17 years training and competing in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop.

She is currently entering her third year at Missouri State University, where she is pursuing a double major in Dance (B.S.) and Strategic Communication. Hannah is also beginning her third season as a member of the nationally recognized Missouri State Sugar Bears Dance Team.

As both an instructor and choreographer, Hannah has taught dancers of all ages and experience levels while choreographing for multiple high school dance teams. She is passionate about helping dancers build strong technique, grow in confidence, and develop a lifelong love for dance.

Known for her positive energy, encouraging spirit, and dedication to every student, Hannah strives to create an environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.

When she’s not dancing, Hannah enjoys a good movie, spending time with her family and friends, and never passes up a great iced coffee.

We are so excited to welcome Hannah to the Aspire family and can’t wait for our dancers to learn, grow, and be inspired by her this season.

💙 Meet Sarah Wilcoxon

Please join us in giving a warm Aspire welcome to Sarah Wilcoxon!✨

We are incredibly excited to welcome Sarah to the Aspire Dance Centre family. Sarah will be teaching ballet, conditioning and leaps and turns while also choreographing exclusively at Aspire Dance Centre. We couldn’t be more excited for our dancers to learn from an educator whose passion, knowledge, and artistry are recognized across the country. We know she will inspire, challenge, and elevate every dancer she works with.

Sarah Wilcoxon is a dance teacher, choreographer, and dance conditioning expert. She holds an MFA in Dance from Florida State University, an MS in Communication from Illinois State University, a comprehensive STOTT Pilates certification, a 200 hour yoga certification, and she works as a teacher-trainer for Progressing Ballet Technique throughout the United States.

Wilcoxon’s award-winning dance films have been selected for screening at film festivals all over the world and her live choreography has been featured in musical theatre productions all over the United States.

Her research on safe dance practice and wellness for dancers has been published in The Journal of Dance Medicine and Science and presented at numerous conferences including Dance Science and Somatics Educators, National Communication Association, Pilates Method Alliance, and International Association of Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conferences.

She developed a wellness program, integrating data driven practices into curriculum and culture for Missouri State University that was featured in Dance Teacher Magazine. She was also a 2020 IADMS nominee for Dance Educator of the Year.

Outside of dance, Sarah likes to garden, embroider, hang out with her book club besties, and relax with her husband and their chihuahuas.

We are honored to have Sarah joining Aspire and can’t wait for our dancers to experience her exceptional instruction, artistry, and commitment to developing strong, confident, and healthy dancers.

MEET JOSEPHINE HALE - Many of you know Josephine as a teacher, choreographer, mentor, and a friend. For years, she has invested in the lives of dancers - not only helping them grow in their technique, but encouraging them to build confidence, develop character, and believe in themselves both on and off the stage.

Dance has been a lifelong passion, and Aspire Dance Centre was born from a vision to create something new and truly special; a place where dancers are challenged to pursue excellence, supported by a positive community, and inspired to become the very best versions of themselves.

Josephine earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance from Missouri State University with a minor in Marketing and holds certifications in Progressive Ballet, Progressive Contemporary, Acrobatic Arts, and Yoga Instruction. She continues to invest in her own growth as an educator, choreographer, and artist so she can provide meaningful opportunities for the dancers she serves.

Outside the studio, Josephine is married to her high school sweetheart, JT, and together they are raising their precious daughter, Norma Jean. Their faith, family, and commitment to community are the heart of who they are and have played an important role in shaping the vision and values behind Aspire.

Her vision for Aspire is simple: To create a studio where exceptional training, strong character, kindness, genuine belonging, and personal growth go hand in hand. A place where dancers feel seen, supported, challenged, and inspired every step of the way.

Welcome to the Inspire Company auditions at Aspire Dance Centre! Our pre-company program is designed to introduce dancers to the exciting world of dance competitions in a manageable and supportive environment.

Program Overview

Competitions: Dancers will participate in two local dance competitions.
Technique Classes: Each dancer will attend two 45-minute technique classes. (Thursdays)
Rehearsal Time: There will be a 45-minute rehearsal for each of the two dances. (Thursdays)
